Happy early Spring! Bulbs are starting to bloom and we're "springing forward" early this year on Sunday at 2am - remember to reset your clocks. To celebrate the season, see details about the Equinox Celebration on March 24th, consider joining a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) or visit your local farmer's market for some fresh local food - the Roanoke Market already has some spring greens and veggies, and the NRV markets are gearing up as well.

SPRING EQUINOX CELEBRATION
March 24, 2007, 7:00pm
1818 Lizard Creek Rd. Shawsville, Virginia.
Fire Circle in the woods, followed by potluck snacks at the house.

Directions: From Blacksburg, take the last Christiansburg bypass exit onto 460 Business, headed east to Shawsville.
Pass the car dealerships, and Cracker Barrel (where I-81, exit 118C comes in). From Cracker Barrel, it is about 1.5
miles further to Mt. Pleasant Rd. Turn right on Mt. Pleasant and go about 1 mile to Georges Run Rd. Turn left on
Georges Run and go about 2 miles. From Georges Run Rd, turn left onto Lizard Creek Rd (private drive, gravel). Go
past the trailers, though the open gate, and straight on back; It is 0.5 miles back the gravel road to the house.
Weather permitting, we will be holding a fire circle on the ridge, which is not visible from the house. It is a short
walk (5 minutes), uphill.

Please plan to arrive by 7:00PM so you can join the procession up the hill! Flashlights are suggested for the hike

An afternoon and evening of Dances of Universal Peace in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. This is the first of many
quarterly events to be hosted by the dance communities in the Blue Ridge Region. The event will rotate from
quarter to quarter around the Blacksburg, Roanoke, Lexington, and the Charlottesville dance circles.

Donation: $25.00 for the whole day including dinner. If wishing just to come to either the afternoon or evening
session, the suggested donation will be $10.00, with dinner please add another $10.00. Please RSVP by contacting
